This cover design explores the nostalgic and eclectic world of junk journalling, inspired by the joy of collecting, layering and repurposing vintage ephemera. The aim was to create a visual identity that reflects the book’s contents - a varied collection of authentic vintage-inspired papers, illustrations and decorative elements designed to be cut out and reused. The busy, layered stripes hint to the content inside, with the vintage-style labels bringing heirachy and structure tp the cover.
